TaG race report for Camden Ohio - October 14,15 2011
G&J Kartways season Finale (100+ karts) TaG was the largest and fastest class.
MXK TaG chassis test and Hoosier tire test.
Unfortunately no photos... we were very busy and as yet we do not have a Team photographer.... anyone?.
Friday practice 10am til 6pm: Morning practice we struggled to get into the 41's.
Afternoon with the help of Adam.. Hoosier kart tire engineer we
mounted the very lastest Hoosier tires, made a couple chassis changes
and began the march into the low 41's... Some more chassis changes and a
couple more lapping sessions and we ended the day with our best lap of
40.37
Saturday practice 2 sessions: Some chassis changes and we were consistant 40.2's Saturday Qualify: 4th row inside Saturday Pre-Final : finished 5th Saturday Final : finished 5th best time 40.00
Overview: Great test weekend... what we learned will help in making the
next step to the WKA Manufacturer's Cup Series. Fifth is a great
stepping stone. Our plan is to challenge for the top position.
